Techniques used:

• Wood Floor: primed with a cream colored base, used a large 6” brush on bamboo stick to paint wooden planks with three wood tone colors, after the floor is dry, went over the planks with drybrushing technique to apply a grain

• Walls: applied light blue base coat, used a sponge roller with dark, mid-tone, and light shade

  • wooden paneling: applied cream base coat, dry brush with custom grain brush, glazed with an oak-color finish, used a straightedge and detail brush to individually mimic the shadow lines of paneling

• Hills: painted 3 different shades of green to mimic receding hills, spattered with green highlight and shadow tones

• Sunflower drop: sewed together 4 sheets of parachute fabric, spattered with garden sprayer, then painted in petals with the main sunflower yellow color, accentuated petals with a shadow and highlight color, and impressionistically painted the center of the sunflowers with a brown umber and black
