Jimmy Nguyen

Jimmy Nguyen (he/him) (last name pronounced as: “gwin”) is a scenic artist based in NYC. He has been an artist all his life, starting from when he was a kid, giving his mother constant headaches coming home from school every day with paint all over his clothes. He has still not outgrown that trait.

Jimmy trained as a Scenic Artist Fellow for Berkeley Repertory Theatre in the San Francisco Bay Area and is a graduate of Doane University and earned his BA in Theatre in 2021.

Throughout his theatre career, Jimmy has placed immense emphasis on telling stories and creating unique environments through painting. He is continuously working towards improving his craft and is always excited to learn new techniques and skills.
